Commack, Hills East set up matchup with semifinals on the line

The quarterfinals in Suffolk County are almost finalized as the playoffs continued on Wednesday afternoon.
Harborfields defeated Smithtown East 6-1 to secure its spot in the final eight. Lindsay Sung & Maggie Hughes notched a 7-6, 7-5 victory at third doubles to lead their team.
In the quarterfinals, Harborfields will take on Sayville, who defeated Islip in its Round of 16 match.
Hills East, the top-seed in the Large School West Bracket, won 7-0 over East Islip to advance. Victoria Czoch was a winner at first singles to lead the way for Hills East.
Hills East will play Commack for a spot in the semifinals, after Commack edged Kings Park on Wednesday.
