Ross School Tennis Center Presents "Junior Tennis Clinic With Patrick McEnroe"
On Saturday, April 30 at 9:00 a.m., the Ross School Tennis Center will present a Junior Tennis Clinic with Patrick McEnroe. Open to players ages six to 18, join Ross Tennis on the courts with United States Tennis Association High Performance Program advisor and tennis great Patrick McEnroe for a children’s clinic and tennis talk at the beautiful Ross School Tennis Center in East Hampton, N.Y. Light fare and beverages served.

Junior Tennis Carnival to Benefit the Robbie Levine Foundation

Join Cure Mommy’s Breast Cancer (CMBC) and the Junior First Lego team Team/Merrick Connection and Long Beach Tennis Center (LBTC) for a Junior Tennis Carnival, Saturday, April 30 at Long Beach Tennis Center from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. (check-in is at 3:45 p.m.). The day will feature tennis instruction, games, skill challenges, raffles, and fun! The cost of the event is $10 per child or $15 for two children. For five-year-olds to 13-year-olds, participants need no tennis experience … just bring a racquet and wear sneakers.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Robbie Levine Foundation. The non-profit foundation was established to raise the awareness of the need for and importance of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in saving lives, particularly in youth athletics. The foundation continues to advance Robbie’s love of sports and giving nature by supporting youth sports programs.

From a grant awarded by the United States Tennis Association, Jr. First Lego League Team, “Merrick Connection” (comprised of six third graders who attend Old Mill Road and Camp Avenue Schools) has teamed with the non-profit organization, CMBC, and LBTC to host a Junior Tennis Carnival to highlight the importance of AEDs in sports facilities.

Cure Mommy’s Breast Cancer (CMBC) is a non-profit organization devoted to helping cancer patients by providing them with financial support. Through a partnership between CMBC and Long Beach Tennis Center, LBTC provides affordable tennis programming for children and adults, while raising money to support the CMBC’s mission.

Commack High School Boys Tennis Team Hosts Free Tennis Clinic

The Commack Boys High School Tennis Team will be hosting a free tennis clinic at Commack High School on Saturday, April 30 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. The goal of the event is to grow tennis in the Commack community by allowing people to come down and learn and play for free with experienced players and coaches. The event is open to the public and is for all ages. Sportime Kings Park will be supplying coaches for the clinic and will have a court designated for 10-and-Under Tennis instruction, The Commack High School Boys Tennis Team will be on-hand to help teach the clinic and play with the players as well. If you live in the Commack area or a neighboring town, this is a perfect opportunity to take advantage to get into the great sport of tennis. 



 

Spring Fling at Robbie Wagner’s Tournament Training Center

Do you want to play college tennis? Robbie Wagner Tournament Training – Glenwood Landing will be hosting a college recruiting seminar presented by consultants Scholarship for Athletes on Sunday, May 1 from 4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m., at 142 Glenwood Road in Glenwood Laning, N.Y. All ages and levels are welcome to attend, and both parents and players are encouraged to attend.

Scholarship For Athletes is a premier consulting company for student athletes and their families. We guide our clients and their families through the recruiting process, making sure that the athletes end up at the best school for them on and off the field of play.
