Benjamin Lane & Casey Streim clinched the Port Washington win with a 6-2, 6-0 victory at fourth doubles.
Syosset 6, Great Neck South 1
Syosset won its season opener as Nikhil Shah won 6-0, 6-1 at third singles to clinch his team’s victory.
Roslyn 6, Jericho 1
Roslyn got comeback wins from three of its doubles teams, including a 3-6, 6-4, 11-9 victory from Justin Sherman & Brian Toh at second doubles.
Lynbrook 4, South Side 3
Lynbrook won all three singles flights, and Tyler Herlihy & Ethan Velasquez fought back to win 4-6, 7-6(6), 10-7 at fourth doubles to lead the way for the Owls.
Friends Academy 5, Garden City 2
Alistair Wright won 6-4, 6-1 at third singles to lead the way for Friends Academy.
Valley Stream North 5, East Meadow 2
Everton Prospere and David Feldman won at first and second singles, respectively, to anchor the win for Valley Stream North.
Freeport 4, Baldwin 3
Johncarlo Rivera & Ricardo Romero held on to win 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 at first doubles as Freeport edged Baldwin.
Clarke 4, Carle Place 3
Clarke was led by Myles Bernal & Brian Bae who notched a 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 victory at third doubles.
Bellmore 7, Calhoun 0
Nick Papazis posted a 6-1, 6-4 victory at first singles to lead the way for Bellmore.
Hicksville 7, Oyster Bay 0
At third doubles, Aster Cayabyab & Daniel Winn were 6-1, 6-4 winners as Hicksville defeated Oyster Bay.
Glen Cove 7, Farmingdale 0
Glen Cove was led by the comeback victory from Mason Foster & Logan Hoffman who won their third doubles match 6-7(5), 6-3, 10-7.
Plainedge 4, New Hyde Park 3
Plainedge’s Shayan Joarder came back to win 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 at third singles to help his team edge New Hyde Park.
West Hempstead 7, Hempstead 0
Stephen Schreck won at third singles to lead the way for West Hempstead.
Manhasset 7, Locust Valley 0
Maxim Golubenko was a winner at first singles as Manhasset won its season opener.
Bethpage 5, Valley Stream Central 2
At second singles, Nicholas Karaisarides held on to win 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 to anchor the win for Bethpage.
Wheatley 4, Hewlett 3
Aaron Chang & Rahul Dawar notched a 7-6(4), 5-7, 6-1 victory at first doubles to clinch Wheatley’s narrow victory.
Oceanside 5, Valley Stream South 2
Frank Demmerle & Brendan Reiser posted a 6-2, 6-3 win at first doubles to lead Oceanside.
Massapequa 7, Mepham 0
William Dusanko won a 6-4, 6-4 victory at second singles to clinch the win for Massapequa.
Lawrence 7, Uniondale 0
Lawrence was led by Jacob Hooks & Elijah Tolley who won 6-0, 2-6, 6-2 at first doubles.
Malverne 4, MacArthur 3
Jamar Smith posted a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 victory at first singles to lead Malverne.
Commack 7, Huntington 0
Saharsh Peddireddy & Jeffrey Behar won 6-0, 6-0 at first doubles to lead Commack.
