While the United States gets ready to celebrate its anniversary this weekend, the world will be tuned into the All-England Club for the start of the 2023 Wimbledon Championships.

The draws have been revealed for this year’s event, with Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Poland’s Iga Swiatek taking being the top seeds for the Men’s Singles and Women’ Singles draws, respectively.

Alcaraz will take on France’s Jeremy Chardy while Swiatek faces China’s Lin Zhu.

Intriguing matchups on the women’s side include an all-American matchup between seventh-seed Coco Gauff and former Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin, who had to come through qualifying to earn her spot in the main draw. Five-time Wimbledon champion Venus Williams will play Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina, both of whom were granted wild cards. On the men’s side, fifth-seed Stefanos Tsitsipas will meet former U.S. Open champion Dominic Thiem in the opening round.
