Florida Southern’s Nussbaum Captures Tampa Bay One-On-One Doubles Title
Hunter Nussbaum won the Tampa Bay One-On-One Doubles Championship defeating Jose Moreno, 6-2, in the final. Nussbaum, who is one of #10 ranked Florida Southern College’s top Doubles players, showcased his excellent serve and volley skills for the fans who attended.Â
Moreno, who played at #5 ranked St. Leo University, now plays many 25k pro tour events. The host club was Buckhorn Springs Racquet and Pool Club in Valrico, Florida.Â

The next One-On-One Doubles Tournament will be played this Saturday, Feb. 28th, at the State College of Florida, Bradenton, from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. There will be a 7 & Under UTR division, and an Open division.
