First Annual Golf, Tennis and Mah Jongg Outing Set for July 30 to Benefit Forever 9-The Robbie Levine Foundation

Forever 9-The Robbie Levine Foundation has announced that it will host its 1st Annual Golf, Tennis and Mah Jongg Outing on Monday, July 30 at the Glen Head Country Club, located at 240 Glen Cove Road in Glen Cove, N.Y. to raise money to further the organization’s mission of placing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) on youth sports fields to save lives. This new event joins the Foundation’s two other major fundraisers—the annual Robbie’s Run, which was held for the seventh time this past April, and the Dealing With Hearts Gala, which has been held four times.
Forever 9-The Robbie Levine Foundation was established in 2005 after the tragic death of nine-year-old Robbie Levine on the field during baseball practice. The organization’s goals are to raise awareness of sudden cardiac death and how AEDs save lives. The Robbie’s Run and the Dealing With Hearts Gala together raise thousands of dollars that have been used to supply youth sports organizations across the New York area with AEDs.
