USTA Eastern LI Junior Tennis Team Tournament Set for August 4th at Eisenhower Park

The USTA Eastern Long Island Region’s Junior Tennis Team Tournament will be played Saturday, Aug. 4 at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, N.Y. (rain date is Sunday, Aug. 5). This tournament is a round robin team tournament and a fundraiser event for the preservation of marine mammals and sea turtles as each team will adopt an animal through the 501(c) (3)not-for-profit Riverhead Foundation. A portion of the entry fee will go to the New York State Marine Mammal Stranding Program which rescues and rehabilitates stranded marine mammals and sea turtles.
The event will begin at 9:00 a.m., with an 8:30 a.m. check in, and features two divisions, a 14 & Under Division and an 18 & Under Division. Players must be USTA members to participate, and results count towards Eastern Ranking Points. Registration costs $180 per team or you can sign up individually online at USTA.com (Tournament ID#:100048212) at $35 per player, and teams will be formed by the tournament director.
