The USTA, in partnership with the USTA Eastern Long Island Region, Nassau County and the U.S. Professional Tennis Association joined together at Eisenhower Park Tennis Courts for the First Annual Military PlayDay to thank military families and veterans for their service and sacrifice.
This new USTA initiative, scheduled to be an annual event, provided free tennis lessons to all current military personnel, their families and to all veterans. This event was the first of many that will be held in the Eastern Section and across the whole United States. Thanks go to all the volunteers that contributed their time to this worthwhile event including Robbie Wagner Tournament Training Center, Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano and Head/Penn products.
