Djokovic and Serena Named 2013 ITF World Champs

Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams have been named the International Tennis Federation's (ITF) World Champions for 2013. Djokovic captured the men's honor for the third consecutive year, while Serena was honored for the fourth time.

Djokovic began 2013 by winning a third straight Australian Open and was runner-up at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. Djokovic finished the season at number two in the ATP Men's Singles Rankings with seven ATP Tour titles. Serena won the 2013 French Open and U.S. Open to end the year at number one in the WTA rankings for the first time since 2009.

On the doubles side, Bob & Mike Bryan of the United States were named Men's Doubles World Champs for the 10th time in 11 years, while Sara Errani & Roberta Vinci of Italy took the 2013 Women's Doubles Award.
