Piping Rock Country Club to Host June 9th SASS Foundation Golf Outing and Tennis Tournament
The SASS Foundation's Annual Golf Outing and Tennis Tournament will take place Monday, June 9 at Piping Rock Country Club in Locust Valley, N.Y. A portion of the proceeds of the day’s events will help fund a new SASS Foundation Carol Litwin Memorial Award for breast cancer research. The SASS Foundation for Medical Research Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity and all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
The day will feature both a golf component and tennis component and the schedule for each is as follows:
Golf
â–º11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Continental Breakfast & Registration
â–º12:30 p.m. Shotgun Start Tee-Off (18 holes of golf with cart with an on-course lunch)
â–º5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Cocktail Reception & Silent Auction
â–º6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Buffet Dinner (Golf Awards presentation, raffles and prizes, and silent auction winners announced)
Tennis
â–º9:00 a.m. Registration
â–º9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tennis Round-Robin Tournament
â–º12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Buffet Luncheon, Wine & Desserts and Awards Presentation
â–º2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Tennis Free Play
â–º5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Cocktail Reception & Silent Auction
â–º6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Buffet Dinner (Golf Awards presentation, raffles and prizes, and silent auction winners announced)
