The coaching carosuel in professional tennis continues to spin, as Wim Fissette has once again found himself involved in a hiring or firing. Fissette, who helped coach Romanian Simona Halep to a world number two ranking and WTA Finals runner up in 2014, has been hired by American teenager Taylor Townsend for the 2015 season, according to reports

The 18-year old is one of the top prospects in American tennis, and saw her ranking shoot up over 100 spots in 2014. Townsend began the year playing ITF tournaments, where she won her first title and earned a wild-card entry to the French Open. She reached the third-round at Roland Garros, notching a win over top-ranked Frenchwoman Alize Cornet.

After parting ways with Halep, Fissette was originally hired by another American in Madison Keys. The partnership didn’t last more than a week and Keys announced she was going to be working with former Grand Slam champion Lindsey Davenport and her husband Jon Leach.

Fissette will bring his impressive resume to the American teenager. She enters 2015 ranked 104th in the world.

NOTE: On her Twitter account, Taylor Townsend has denied reports that she has hired Wim Fissette.
