The inaugural Mixed Madness event brought together eight U.S. Open fan-favorites to compete under the lights of Arthur Ashe Stadium on Tuesday night.

Four exciting duos battled it out for mixed doubles supremacy, a list that included Coco Gauff and Ben Shelton, Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas, Amanda Anisimova and Taylor Frotz, and Naomi Osaka and Nick Kyrgios, with $250,000 in prize money on the line.

There was great tennis shots and tons of laughter throughout the night. Badosa & Tsitsipas beat Gauff & Shelton in the first semifinal to set up a finals matchup against Anisimova & Fritz, who beat Osaka and Kyrgios in the next semifinal.

Badosa & Tsitsipas demonstrated their chemistry to defeat the American pairing and capture the first-ever Mixed Madness title.

“[It was] one of the coolest date  nights I could’ve asked for,” said Tsitsipas. “Super grateful we were able to produce some good tennis in combination with having fun and getting to share that with that special person.”

Anisimova added:

“I’m so happy I got to perform on this court, it’s my favorite court of any tournament. It was a great environment and I had fun tonight.”

A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go to the USTA Foundation, the national philanthropic arm of the USTA. The USTA Foundation, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024, provides tennis and educational opportunities to children through the organization’s National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network, sport-based development programs for under-served youth around the country.
