Commack Sweeps Miller Place to Improve to 2-0

The Commack Cougars won its second straight match to begin its 2016 campaign on Wednesday afternoon, sweeping all seven flights against Miller Place in a non-conference matchup. The Cougars will travel to take on Hauppauge in its next contest.

Half Hollow Hills East improved to 2-0 to begin its season as well on Wednesday. Brian Rhee led the way with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Peter Hoffman at second singles as the Thunderbirds defeated Bay Shore 7-0.

The defending Suffolk County Champions Half Hollow Hills West also improved to 2-0 on the young season, moving past East Islip 7-0.
