Djokovic Extends 2011 Win Streak to 25 With Win at the Serbia Open

Novak Djokovic won his 25th consecutive match in 2011, a 6-2, 6-3 win over Romanian Adrian Ungur in the second round of the 2011 Serbia Open. Djokovic, playing in his homeland of Serbia, has won 61 of 67 sets and four tournament titles to date in 2011, and has moved up in the ATP rankings to unseat Roger Federer for the number two spot. Djokovic advances to play Blaz Kavcic of Slovenia, who defeated Ricardo Mello from Brazil, 7-5, 6-3.

In other Serbia Open action, the number four seed Albert Montanes rallied to defeat German Michael Berrer, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2, and Feliciano Lopez defeated wild card Fernando Gonzalez of Chile, 6-4, 7-6 (4).
