Switzerland’s Roger Federer met Spain’s Rafael Nadal at the ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 Arena in London, and it took Federer a little over an hour to defeat his rival, 6-3, 6-0, to extend his current winning streak to 14 consecutive wins.

“It was a great match for me basically from start to finish,” said Federer. “I was able to do what I was hoping to do: Dominate from the baseline, play close to the baseline, serve well, take his time away.”

Nadal leads the head-to-head series against Federer 17-9, but Tuesday’s win extended Federer’s indoor win streak against his counterpart to a perfect 4-0.

“Today, he played too good for me, and that’s what happened,” Nadal said. “Just accept that.”
