Friends Academy, Wheatley To Meet in Nassau County Small School Final

Will Bohner was a first singles winner to lead Friends Academy back to the Nassau County Small School final

Friends Academy and Wheatley will meet in the Nassau County Small School (Division II) final for a fourth consecutive season after each won their respective semifinals on Tuesday afternoon.

The top-seeded Quakers of Friends Academy knocked off North Shore 5-0, led by victories by Will Bohner at first singles and Bryan Bin at second singles.

In doubles action, Ryan Chang & Vedant Rawat won 6-3, 7-6(4) at first doubles, Blake Doan & Henry Koelmel won 6-1, 6-0 at second singles while Steven Luke Seviroli & Vir Singh posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory at third doubles.

Wheatley defeated Cold Spring Harbor 5-0 in its semifinal. Joshua Mizrahi held on to win 6-1, 4-6, 7-6(7) at first singles as Liel Agajan was a 6-3, 6-2 winner at second singles.

Nadav Farahnik & Julian Ostrow were 6-0, 6-3 winners at first doubles, Aaron Rayhan & Noah Gee won 6-1, 6-2 at second doubles and Ali Meghji & Hitansh Jain won their third doubles match 6-1, 6-0.

The final between Friends Academy and Wheatley is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 27.
