The Suffolk County team championship match is all set, as Half Hollow Hills West and Half Hollow Hills East will meet in the final on Thursday afternoon at Half Hollow Hills East High School.

Top-seeded Hills East stayed undefeated on the season as it defeated Ward Melville 6-1 in the semifinal on Monday afternoon. Arnav Srivastava and Sahil Varma cruised past Ward Melville’s Luke Sugrue and Andrew Micklos 7-5, 6-2 in the clinching match at third-doubles to lead Hills East.

In the other semifinal, Hills West took on the third-seeded Commack Cougars. Led by Jackson Weisbrot, who outdueled Nick Fox, 6-7 (7-4), 7-5, 6-2 at third singles, Hills West raced past Commack 6-1 to set up the all Half Hollow Hills championship.

This will be the third meeting of the season between the two schools, with Hills East winning both of the meeting easily, 6-1 and 7-0, respectively.  The final, which takes place on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. at Half Hollow Hills East high school, will be the final team match of the Long Island high school tennis season.
