Junior Tennis Carnival on April 30th to Benefit the Robbie Levine Foundation

Join Cure Mommy’s Breast Cancer (CMBC) and the Junior First Lego team Team/Merrick Connection and Long Beach Tennis Center (LBTC) for a Junior Tennis Carnival, Saturday, April 30 at Long Beach Tennis Center from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. (check-in is at 3:45 p.m.). The day will feature tennis instruction, games, skill challenges, raffles, and fun! The cost of the event is $10 per child or $15 for two children. For five-year-olds to 13-year-olds, participants need no tennis experience … just bring a racquet and wear sneakers.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Robbie Levine Foundation. The non-profit foundation was established to raise the awareness of the need for and importance of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in saving lives, particularly in youth athletics. The foundation continues to advance Robbie’s love of sports and giving nature by supporting youth sports programs.
From a grant awarded by the United States Tennis Association, Jr. First Lego League Team, “Merrick Connection” (comprised of six third graders who attend Old Mill Road and Camp Avenue Schools) has teamed with the non-profit organization, CMBC, and LBTC to host a Junior Tennis Carnival to highlight the importance of AEDs in sports facilities.
Cure Mommy’s Breast Cancer (CMBC) is a non-profit organization devoted to helping cancer patients by providing them with financial support. Through a partnership between CMBC and Long Beach Tennis Center, LBTC provides affordable tennis programming for children and adults, while raising money to support the CMBC’s mission.
