Manhasset Beats Hewlett to Reach Large School Semifinals
Suffolk playoffs continue on Wednesday
Manhasset defeated Hewlett 5-2 on Tuesday afternoon to secure its spot in the Large School semifinals, where it will take on Port Washington.
Manhasset was led by Julia Chiovitti & Alexandra McIntyre, who came back from a set down to win 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 at first doubles.

The Vikings defeated Jericho 7-0 on Tuesday.
The other Large School semifinal will pit Syosset versus Roslyn, after the Braves beat Herricks, and the Bulldogs beat Great Neck North in their respective quarterfinals on Tuesday.
Friends Academy defeated North Shore 4-1 to book its spot in the Small School finals, where it will take on Cold Spring Harbor on Wednesday.
The Suffolk County team playoffs were put on hold for a day as the Divisional Individual Championships wrapped up on Tuesday. Below are the matches scheduled for Wednesday:
