Nassau County Girls High School Tennis Championships Set for This Weekend

The 2011 Nassau County Girls High School Tennis Championship will be held this weekend, Oct. 15-16 at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, N.Y. The tournament will have both a singles and doubles tournament where the top Nassau County girls players will compete for the title of 2011 champion.
In the first round of singles play, the top four seeds of Syosset’s Hannah Camhi, Garden City’s Morgan Hermann, Nicholle Torres of Great Neck South, and Oceanside’s Paulina Tafler will have byes into the second round of play.
On the doubles side of play, the top-seeded Courtney DiGia & Nicole Koskovolis of Manhasset will face Lisa Facey & Alana Payne of Baldwin in the first round of play.
