North Shore Autism Circle Set to Host First Annual Serve an Ace for Autism Celebrity Tennis Pro-Am and Clinic
Event set for Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 at Sportime Roslyn

The North Shore Autism Circle (NSAC) is hosting its First Annual Serve an Ace for Autism Celebrity Tennis Pro-Am and Clinic at Roslyn Sportime on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 from 7:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. Many local tennis enthusiasts will partner with celebrity and local tennis pros to raise funds to support NSAC. Tim Mayotte, Gene Mayer, Virginia Wade, and Gigi Fernandez, as well as others, are scheduled to appear. North Shore Autism Circle will be having a "taste of the town" food menu for all of those who come out. These funds will allow NSAC to remain a vital resource for those children who benefit from the Circle’s programs.
NSAC is a 501(c)3 created in 2005 that funds recreational, socialization and peer mentoring programs for children on Long Island with Autism Spectrum disorders. NSAC also partners with existing established organizations and sports facilities to implement new programs. They provide financial scholarships to those families seeking assistance, so that no child should be denied the opportunity to thrive and grow through these wonderful programs.
"Sportime Roslyn is very proud of our Special Needs Tennis program and our relationship with the NSAC," said Chris Pagoto, general manager of Sportime Roslyn. "Not only has the program been sold out for the past nine months, but the overall enrollment has doubled during this same time period. We look forward to the continued support of the NSAC in order to promote the future growth of this program. Without the support of the NSAC this program would not be able to function. Therefore, Sportime Roslyn is excited to host the SERVE AN ACE FOR AUTISM fundraiser to support the NSAC. The pro’s scheduled for this event guarantee it will be an exciting evening for everyone."
