Sports and Fitness Performance to Host Sept. 30th Free Speed Training Clinic

On Sunday, Sept. 30, Coach Frank Dolan will host a Free Speed Training Clinic at Sports and Fitness Performance, located at 4 Cedar Avenue in Islip, N.Y. The clinic, taking place from noon-1:00 p.m., will explain insider tips, drills and exercises to help improve:

â–ºCorrect Form and Technique
â–ºStride Length
â–ºLeg Speed
â–ºLeg Power
â–ºSpeed Endurance
This workshop is totally free and designed specifically for high school athletes. Others who will benefit from this information include college athletes, middle school athletes, weekend warriors and distance runners. Coaches and parents can watch and learn while participants engage in a sport-specific dynamic warm up, as well as several acceleration and multi-directional speed drills.
Coach Frank Dolan has been a Sports Performance Coach since 2001 and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2004. In addition to working with high school and college athletes, Frank has trained professional athletes from the ranks of MLB, the NBA, and the NHL.
