Sam Stosur has announced she has found a new coach, Miles Maclagan. Born in Zambia and grew up in Zimbabwe, Maclagan is a former ATP World Tour player for Great Britain. His coaching credentials include working with Andy Murray, Marcos Baghdatis and Philipp Kohlschreiber, as well as Laura Robson on the WTA Tour.

"I am really excited about the opportunity of working with Miles," Stosur said. "I've seen him in action on the tour for many years and have always admired his professionalism and hard work. He has a lot of experience working with top players and I think we'll work really well together. Miles will be coming to Sydney in December for a few weeks of pre-season training before our first event together, the Hyundai Hopman Cup."

In 2013, Stosur won titles at the Japan Women's Open Tennis in Osaka and the Southern California Open in Carlsbad, Calif., and finished runner up at both last week's Garanti Koza WTA Tournament of Champions in Bulgaria, falling to Simona Halep, 6-2, 2-6, 2-6. She also lost to Halep in Moscow in the finals of the Kremlin Cup by Bank of Moscow, 6-7(1), 2-6.

Stosur currently sits at 19th in the WTA Women's Singles Rankings.
