Syosset, Roslyn Earn First Round Byes in Nassau Playoffs

Syosset defeated Roslyn in the 2016 Nassau County championship. The two squads earned first-round byes into the 2017 quarterfinals.
The Nassau County playoffs get underway next Monday as the 14 teams in the field begin their quest towards a county championship.
The top two teams from Conference I, Syosset and Roslyn, earned the two first-round byes and will walk into the quarterfinals.
Syosset is the two-time defending county champions and has won 48 straight matches, including a 7-0 win over Great Neck North on Thursday.
Roslyn was the county runner-up a season ago and finished the regular season this year at 12-2. The only two losses for the Bulldogs this season were 4-3 defeats at the hands of Syosset.
Below are the first round matchups which begin on Monday:
