Taste of Tennis To Celebrate The Return of Tennis To The Desert At The Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas On March 3

An unforgettable evening of tennis pros and culinary excellence, Taste of Tennis returns to the desert on Monday, March 3, 2025. The event will take place at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, offering guests the chance to mingle with tennis pros and rising stars while savoring delicious dishes from the valley’s most celebrated chefs.
Taste of Tennis is excited to welcome this year’s Australian Open finalist Alexander Zverev, World No. 8 Qinwen Zheng, rising American talents Learner Tien and Alex Michelsen, Australia’s Jordan Thompson, WTA No. 13 Diana Shnaider and more. Previous Taste of Tennis participants have included notable names like Nick Kyrgios, Holger Rune, Iga Swiatek, Gael Monfils, Emma Navarro, Elina Svitolina, Sloane Stephens, Belinda Bencic, and many others.
Hosting the evening and blending the excitement of tennis with the finest cuisine of Indian Wells is former ATP player and Tennis Channel commentator, Nick Monroe. Guests will enjoy delectable cuisine, signature cocktails, and live music from DJ Danny Castillo. 
Returning as this year’s headline chef is celebrity Chef Angelo Sosa! Bringing more than 25 years of experience, Chef Sosa has worked with some of the industry’s most renowned restaurateurs, including Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Alain Ducasse, Stephen Starr, and Masaharu Morimoto, as well as celebrated restaurants such as Jean-Georges, Spice Market, Buddakan, Morimoto NYC, and more. He was also a fan favorite on Bravo’s hit show, “Top Chef,” appearing on multiple seasons. In addition to his two restaurants Tía Carmen and Carmocha at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas, Angelo is the Chef and Owner of Kembara as well as the first location of Tía Carmen, both restaurants located in Phoenix, AZ.
Joining Chef Sosa are 15 top chefs from across the Coachella Valley, each offering a unique culinary experience. This year’s beneficiary is Shay’s Warriors, a Coachella Valley-based non-profit that informs, empowers, and helps heal cancer survivors and their family members. With a mission to ensure no survivor lacks community support, Shay’s Warriors Life After Cancer helps men and women share their experiences and overcome the trauma and PTSD from cancer, whether post-treatment or during ongoing diagnosis.
