Three L.I. Teams Earn Spots at Junior Team Tennis Section Championships
The 2015 Long Island Winter Junior Team Tennis Season ended with two exciting weekends of competition, with 18 teams competing in three different divisions.
In the 12 & Under Division, World Gym Setauket defeated the Sportime Legends in the finals and will move on the Sectionals.
The 14 & Under Division had a five team round-robin to determine the champion. Huntington Indoor prevailed with World Gym finishing second.
In the 18 & Under Division, the Huntington Indoor Nationals defeated the defending 2014 Regional Champions from World Gym to advance to the Sectionals.
All three winning teams will compete at the Eastern Sectional representing Long Island. The tournament will be held in Greenburg, N.Y. in June.
