I often tell my students that tennis matches are “tests.” The rewards of competing are in the outcome, the preparation and the lessons learned and learning from match lessons helps us beyond tennis.
As a child we are usually aware when we asked to perform a test. As an adult we are surrounded by tests and rarely does anyone warn us before they judge us.
As far as life lessons go, anyone that wants a test can get one.
