On a personal note, June marks my one-year anniversary as Long Island Adult League Coordinator. It has been an incredibly rewarding first year, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve such a passionate and welcoming tennis community. One of the greatest joys of this role has been getting to know the people who make Long Island tennis so special—from dedicated captains and enthusiastic players to facility managers and volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
Over the past year, I have had the privilege of watching teams compete, celebrate successes, overcome challenges, and build lasting friendships through league tennis. The sense of community, sportsmanship, and commitment that exists across Long Island is truly remarkable, and it has made this experience both professionally and personally fulfilling.
Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me into this role, offered guidance, and contributed to making my first year such a memorable one. I look forward to continuing to work alongside all of you and to many more seasons filled with competition, camaraderie, and success both on and off the court.
