USTA to Offer Complimentary “Doubles on Us” Grounds Admission on Thursday

The USTA is offering complimentary grounds admission to the U.S. Open during the Day Session on Thursday, Sept. 10, billing the day as "Doubles on Us," in reference to the men's and women's doubles semifinals being played Thursday. doubles is only a fraction of the action that fans can enjoy, free of charge, on Thursday on the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Thursday's full slate of matches includes:

â–ºThe Men's and Women's Doubles Semifinals

â–ºBoys’ and Girls’ Junior Singles Quarterfinals, likely to include top American juniors Taylor Fritz, Reilly Opelka, Tommy Paul, Michael Mmoh and Sofia Kenin

â–ºThe American Collegiate Invitational Men's and Women's Singles first rounds, including 2015 NCAA singles champion Ryan Shane and local stars Robin Anderson of Matawan, N.J. and Julia Elbaba of Oyster Bay, N.Y.

â–ºWheelchair Men's, Women's and Quad Singles matches

â–ºChampions Invitational play, featuring legends of the game, such as John McEnroe, Michael Chang, Pat Cash, Martina Navratilova, Tracy Austin and Lindsay Davenport, among others

Gates at the National Tennis Center open at 11:00 a.m. EST with matches scheduled to start at noon.
