Hannah Camhi

Hannah Camhi hasn’t quit school to play tennis, instead, she stays after class as she has done since eighth grade to lead the team.

Hannah doesn’t see education as an obstacle to her goal of being a top ranked player, instead, she recognizes her tennis as a way to further her education. It has helped her gain admission to Brown University where she will be a student-athlete next fall.

If you want something done, go ask a busy person. You could ask Hannah if you could find her with a moment to spare, but likely she’s in class taking an AP course or at a Forensics invitational, at the trainer getting stronger, quicker and staying injury-free. This last weekend, she could be found doing homework and talking to her peers in between winning tennis matches in upstate New York.

As of this writing, she’s busy giving interviews as the 2011 New York State Girls High School Singles Champion.
