In Living Color

The All England Championships at Wimbledon is usually a staid event with muted tones and hushed crowds, but the Olympic Tennis event is a raucous party … I love it!

My first thought when I tuned to the coverage on Bravo is that the vivid colors reminded me of that great scene for "The Wizard of Oz" when Dorothy first arrived in Oz and the black and white frames turned to Technicolor.

I’m not going to suggest that Wimbledon change its traditions, they are what make the event this event so very special. Rather, it’s this tournament’s departure from tradition that makes it a once in a lifetime event, and it is visually spectacular.
