Tough Day for U.S. Women in France as Six of Nine Eliminated
Day Four of the 2012 French Open resulted in six of the nine remaining American women being eliminated from the event. Vania King lost to the number 15 seed, Dominika Cibulkova, 6-0, 6-2. Sloane Stephens defeated fellow American Bethanie Mattek-Sands easily by a score of 6-1, 6-1. Stephens will next face Mathilde Johansson of France….
